01 / Report an issue
Send the page, claim, and best available evidence
A useful correction request identifies the affected SpanVor URL, the specific value or statement in dispute, the source evidence supporting a change, and—optionally—how to reach you for clarification. Do not send confidential transaction documents unless SpanVor has explicitly agreed on a secure exchange.
Email a correction requestRequests go to probert@spanvor.com. A report is reviewed against the applicable source and publication contract; it is not automatically accepted or rejected based on the sender's relationship to the subject.
02 / Classification
Correction, update, and clarification are not interchangeable
- Correction
- A published factual, computational, attribution, or presentation error is repaired. Material corrections are recorded here.
- Update
- New evidence, a new reporting period, or a changed public record advances work that was accurate in its original time context.
- Clarification
- The underlying statement remains supportable, but the wording or surrounding context is improved to prevent a reasonable misreading.
- Source dispute
- Two sources conflict or a source owner challenges another authority. SpanVor records the conflict and applies the stated evidence hierarchy.

CMBS small-bay performance article replaced with approved loan-tape analysis
Affected work: Blog and Research CMBS performance coverage
An earlier Blog treatment relied on obsolete size-only figures and an unsupported 55% framing that no longer met SpanVor’s publication standard.
Resolution: The article was substantively replaced with the approved public-loan-tape study. The revised analysis separates income density, operating expense growth, and debt coverage and links to the governed Research edition.

Fix the source layer, then the public representation
When an error originates in a governed data artifact, a visible text edit alone is not enough. SpanVor corrects or supersedes the applicable source or transformation, reruns its validation and release gate, and then updates the public representation. A market remains withheld if the approved artifact no longer passes identity, freshness, path, or hash verification.
